Blizzard finally Break's the Ice on New hero of Overwatch

Overwatch's Next Hero is Orisa, an Omnic With a Heart

After all kinds of teases and some misdirection, Blizzard has revealed the next Overwatch hero as Orisa, an upgrade of the OR15 defense bots created by child genius Efi Oladele.

Orisa is a new generation of Omnic defense bot that Efi rebuilt and reprogrammed, enhancing the AI to give her new creation "a heart." There are scenes of Orisa learning her new role in protecting society, and she ends the trailer saying that keeping us safe is her "primary function."

Orisa will be the 24th hero added to the game "soon," Blizzard said in the reveal. She has already been added to the Overwatch Public Test Realm. She is a tank with the following abilities:

Fusion Driver: A rapid-fire automatic gun with good range and accuracy even at a distance, although Orisa’s movement slows down while she fires.

Halt!: Alt-fire that launches a graviton charge across the map, slowing nearby enemies as it passes, then pulling them toward it when it detonates.

Fortify: boosts her personal defense, reducing damage taken and making her unstoppable for a short time.

Protetion Barrier: A device that creates a curved, stationary field perfect for intercepting projectiles and shielding teammates.

Supercharger: This ultimate ability beams a buff to allies within its range, increasing the damage they can inflict on the opposing team.

Orisa is the sixth tank to join the Overwatch lineup, and much like her programming, her gameplay is engineered around protection. She's built for making a stand with her entire team, and her abilities are geared toward protecting and enabling a group of nearby allies. Her barrier provides something to hide behind when it’s time to make a push, and her Supercharger ultimate gives her teammates a compelling reason to stay nearby for a coordinated assault.

Her Fusion Driver packs a punch, but it's also great at laying down suppressing fire. And while her barrier isn't quite as durable as someone like Reinhardt’s, she's able to perform other duties while it’s deployed.

Unfortunately, once the phase passed you were stuck with your dorky Twitch username, as there was no way to change it. Not anymore! Twitch has announced that starting right now, one of its most-requested features: name changes, are here!

Users can now change their usernames once every 60 days - provided of course that the new username isn't already in use. The option is found in the Profile Settings page of one's Twitch account. An option to change the username is highlighted beside the existing one.

"Once you've changed your name, the abandoned username will be held by Twitch for a minimum of six months. After which, we may decide to return it to the pool of available usernames for the community and new users. We will not recycle partner usernames, except in special circumstances," said Twitch in a blog post.
